At the recent Turin Motor Show, a very particular car was put on display: the City Transformer CT-2 , the second generation of the innovative vehicle designed for urban mobility.
This is a small, compact city car with four wheels and a two-seater interior . Its key feature is its transformability . The City Transformer CT-2 can adjust its width to adapt to different city traffic conditions.
Width increases from 1 to 1.3 meters, range of 180 km
The vehicle, measuring 2.5 meters in length, boasts an elegant design and excellent practicality, boasting a 450-liter cargo compartment. What sets the CT-2 apart from the competition is its unique chassis, which allows for a widening of the track, allowing the vehicle’s width to vary from 1 meter in the City configuration, which offers a speed of up to 40 km/h, to 1.3 meters in the Performance configuration, with a top speed of 90 km/h.
The CT-2 is powered by a fully electric powertrain , supported by an LFP battery that gives the vehicle a maximum range of 180 kilometers .
